Loyalty

For my first blog, I thought I would discuss how I came to be unemployed. I had to learn the hard way, hopefully anybody who reads this will gain from my experience.

I am a Taurus, if you follow astrology you know that one trait of a Taurus is that we are very loyal. In so much that I am a loyal person, I did what I did.

Let me start from the beginning. I had worked for my former employer (to remain unnamed) for almost 10 years. That much time spent with anyone will create a certain amount of loyalty. I started getting very discouraged with how the management team was running the company, in addition, I was not happy with how the employees were being treated. Top that off with the level of stress I was under as a manager, and I doubt that my looking for a different job would be surprising.

My mistake was giving my boss the heads up that I had started searching for alternate employment. Originally I was told that I would receive help to alleviate some of my stress. the next thing I knew, I was given two weeks notice by my employer.

Needless to say, I felt very betrayed by the very company to which I had tried to be loyal.

So, I hope that this information will help keep some of you employed, even though unhappy, until you can leave on your own terms.

Heya Chica! Yeah that is a hard thing to learn.... but at least I know that you are much relieved to be out of that stress-puppy workplace. I am really proud of you and know that you are destined for FANTABULOUS things to come.

Yes, being unemployed has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. However, it still would have been nice to leave on my own terms.

I absolutely love being unemployed but it does truly suck when you are pushed out. And when you are unappreciated
